Beds SU Accreditation Scheme

The Beds SU Accreditation Scheme (sponsored by Enterprise) is the brand new way to earn employability skills and recognition for your volunteering.

The scheme is based upon receiving merits for taking part in different activities that can improve your employability. Each activity has a merit amount, so the more you take part in – the more merits you earn!

There are four levels of achievement in the scheme; Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. These levels link to the amount of merits you rack up throughout the year, so the more you earn – the higher level you achieve.

As well as achieving recognition, the scheme is also about enhancing your employability prospects by coaching you on how to sell your skills to employers through our innovative employability workshops.

This is the biggest and most inclusive volunteering accreditation scheme in the history of Beds SU, as you can receive merits for a wide range of different activities including; joining a sports team or society, volunteering in the community, attending employability workshops, being a freshers angel, writing a reflective case study on your volunteering and loads more.

To get started, register to become a volunteer on the Beds SU website and tick the expression of interest box.
