The Coronavirus has created a challenging time for our student community and the country alike. The wellbeing of students, staff and visitors is of the utmost importance to us, as such Beds SU is working with the University and considering the advice provided by the UK Government and Public Health England.

Get in touch with Beds SU

Whilst we will be limiting staff time on campuses, Beds SU remains open and available online. 
Students can continue to get in touch with Beds SU with general enquiries via email (beds.su@beds.ac.uk) or by chatting to us directly through our website at www.bedssu.co.uk. Online chat with SU staff is available from 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.

SU Venues and Events

Our on-campus venues remain closed (The Metro Bar & Kitchen, Luton Campus and The Hub, Bedford Campus) until further notice. 

Access to Be Supported - Our Student Advice Service

Access to our advisors, who offer confidential and independent support to students, remains available via telephone appointment video call and email. To get in touch with the team, please email be.supported@beds.ac.uk. More information about this service can be found here.

Society Activities 

We are keen to support societies with Covid safe  activities and events. Society committees should be aware that any IRL gathering MUST adhere to goverment guidence and have prior approval from Beds SU to take place. More information in holding IRL events and activites can be found on Society Committees’ Hub page or you can contact the team at  be.involved@beds.ac.uk 

We encouage socitieis to continue to also hold online activites, where we are able to provide support and resources (such a access to a Zoom account) to help do this. Please contact the Be Involded team.

Access to your Academic Rep 

If you’re interested in being an Academic Rep, listen out for news from your Course Leader on how to get involved. If you would like to provide on your academic experience – ideas, concerns or praise – you can still raise it with Beds SU (who will update your new Rep when they are elected) using our online form here.
