Description

About Us

This society is for everyone to learn about Veganism, no matter what their dietary preference is. Whether you want to experiment with food, meet new people or hang out with animals; this society is for you. If you are interested in reducing your meat intake, pescatarian, lactose intolerant, or just curious, come and see what we have to offer. We aim to be as inclusive as possible.

Events/activities:
Regular meets ups: Each week we will meet in the Metro bar to chat about interesting, relevant topics, upcoming events, and other things. This will give you a chance to voice your opinions, suggest ideas for day trips and ask any questions. We’ll be there to support you if you are new to veganism, currently in the transitioning process or just interested in the topic! And, of course, we’ll supply food.
Film/Documentary showings: A chance to learn from interesting vegan documentaries or relax and watch films such as ‘Okja’ (with vegan pizza?!).
Day trips: We will be venturing out to different places in search of the best vegan food. We will also be visiting animal sanctuaries to spend time with the animals. Places to be confirmed.
Local events: Bedfordshire often holds vegan fairs, selling vegan food (such as fake bacon sandwiches), vegan beauty products and other things. Drinks after for whoever is interested
