Representation Support Administrator - £17,340 - £18,870 - Full Time Permanent:

The Representation Support Administrator is the first point of contact for students engaging with the Union’s independent, confidential and impartial Advice Service, providing excellent customer service to students who are seeking support in times of need, and to our elected Officers in our busy Membership Services team. The Representation Support Administrator shall provide administrative support to the Executive Officers and Advice Service and their clients, including (but not limited to) appointment booking, collating of supporting evidence, referrals to external agencies, diary management, and checking the progress of cases with clients.

Alongside basic office support for our student Officers, the postholder will form a critical part of the “triage” process for our Advice Service, ensuring that students are signposted to the most appropriate service first time around and are prepared for any meetings that they go into. As such an in-depth understanding of the processes in place at the University of Bedfordshire shall be required: with this in mind the role may be offered at a lower grade for those without prior experience who are willing to be trained in those areas.
