 Permanent Roles 

Representation Development Coordinator

£21,000 – £23,170 per annum | Luton Campus Based

We seek an enthusiastic Representation Development Coordinator to help student representatives be the best they can be: champions of student rights and interests; impactful in creating change on behalf of their peers; and vocal in bringing student opinion and concerns to the attention of Beds SU, other students and decision-makers.

The post will bring-about effective representation, by students and for their peers, across the University and tailored to our diverse student members. In particular, they’ll work to maximise the voices of those less represented or more likely to experience exclusion in society; they’ll influence within our community to realise an inclusive university experience for all students. Passionate about students making change in their courses, communities and lives, they will coach students, communicate with them and develop them.

Societies Development Coordinator

£21,000 – £23,170 per annum | Luton Campus Based

We seek a proactive and engaging individual to organise, administer, promote and develop student societies at the University of Bedfordshire.

The role exists to create and direct a vibrant, buzzing community of student-friendly activities, led and directed by students, that provide opportunities to our members to come together around shared interests. This position will oversee an evolving provision of opportunities for students; they’ll develop student leaders to become more employable; and they’ll see that student organisers are recognised for their efforts.

You’ll need to be organised and outgoing, with a combination of flexibility and patience. The role offers an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated person interested in supporting the development of student-led groups and associated projects, activities and events.
