When you join the University of Bedfordshire, you don't just join the University - you also become a member of Bedfordshire Students' Union (Beds SU)!

We are here to help every student get the most out of their university experience. We campaign on issues that you care about, as well as provide lots of opportunities for you to meet new people, develop your skills, campaign for change and try something new!

Advice

In order to make sure your voice is heard throughout the year we rely on student representatives.

We have elected student representatives for different communities within the University to make sure we represent everyone.

You can become a student leader for any of the communities you are a part of.

Beds SU has two fantastic venues available – The Metro in Luton and The Hub in Bedford. Both venues were recently refurbished in a modern, rustic style.

Going Beyond Simple Compliance

We are committed to considering the environmental and ethical implications of all our actions, and reducing the negative and increasing the positive impact our organisation has on the environment. Beds SU endeavours to continually improve our ethical and environmental performance, go beyond simple compliance and engage all of our stakeholders in ethical and environmental concerns of interest to our students.

Our sustainability practices are guided by the UN's Sustainable Development Goals, adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, providing a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future.
